file info box appears next to image when using wacom tablet

i just upgraded to a new macbook pro using osx 10.5.5. when i am n the contact sheet and i hover the stylus over an image the box with the image shooting data appears next to the image. this never use to be the case. is there a way to turn that off? it's very annoying.

Just turn off the menu item "Show Info Tooltips" on the View menu.  You must have turned it on recently.  The Wacom tablet should have nothing to do with it.
