4.6 Beta - Smugmug Uploader?

I'm running XP Pro SP3 on a Intel dual core PC, 2.5 gb RAM, I'm trying to upload to Smugmug. The Uploader dialog window is very slow to come up & to respond to changes. I set up the SmugMug account fine but I can't set a new folder to upload to only chose a prior folder. I chose a prior test folder and 50% file size (shown as 850k JPG) form RAW + JPG set of 181 D3 pictures, The Upload is Extreemly slow.
Here is the log with time stamps. - 8 files uploaded in 9 minutes so far on a FIOS internet connection.

I canceled the upload after a couple more minutes. When I went back to PM it had green box on the 12 uploaded ones and a red box on on the file I canceled and blank on the rest - I love that part. - Thanks

Yes,  you can not create a new gallery but uploder work fine for me, speed looks normal.

Took 3 minutes to send 10 pictures of 8.9 MB  each from my wireless laptop (56 k speed)  and 2 minutes on my main with cable modem.

Also - If we can create a new folder (like is possible in Photoshelter) - could there be a way to set that folders parameters (public/Private and others)?

Kirk - I tried again - the copying file for the 165 images took less then a minute, but the upload speed is the same about 1 minute per image.
I've attached my settings screen.
