When does my year expire?
« on: January 30, 2009, 08:09:27 AM »
I don't remember what date I purchased Photo Mechanic.

How can I tell what date my license started/expires?

I looked but didn't see anything on the "About Photo Mechanic" screen.

Photo Mechanic 4.5.4
Mac OS 10.5.6

Use the "Software Update..." command on the Photo Mechanic application menu.  It will tell you that information.

If more than one year passed since my purchase then I have no chance testing 4.6 without a new purchase?

I definietly would like to buy the upgrade - especially seeing 4.6 has so much new features I hoped for - (or rather I will buy a fully new license to be allowed to use by two persons at the same time), but it is being under development whether I will buy it myself or my company buys it for me instead.
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.

You can always get a 20-day trial code from our website.

We are also offering a discount for upgrades and new licenses from now and until we release 4.6 in the middle of February.  The beta announcement in the Announcements section of the forums explains it a bit better.

Thank you for the quick answer but my dispute didn't close between my employers. They have a (too) strict IT policy not allowing me to use software I buy on the computer they provide me to work on. I think I will try the trial code way for now.
