Closed: Watermark not honouring font settings?

Am I doing something wrong, or …
When I change the font of the watermark in the export function, this change does not seem to get reflected in the resulting image. Instead of the Marker Felt I chose, I get some sort of sans-serif font. Not really what I wanted 

This is on a Mac with 4.6.

This is on a Mac with 4.6.

Which template are you using?  Are you perhaps using images from a previous export?  (Did you have the Reuse existing images checkbox turned on?)

Hmm, I had been using my own template based on PMClassic (the only changes I made were to skip the generation of the html, I'm only interested in the images and thumbnails, with the watermarking; I have my own website creation script which then uses those files again). Could it be that the new templates are using variables that I am not passing perhaps? In that case I can simply solve the problem by recreating my own templates

Can you try the regular PM Classic template and see if it exhibits this same issue, please?

I just performed some more testing and my earlier suggestion does not fix my problem; even after recreating the template-main.rb from the new pm_classic one, do I still have the problem. Worse, I have the same problem with the built-in templates as well; none seem to honour the font  

Hope this is something simple,

PS. I also tested this on 4.5.4 and the problem was present there as well, I just hadn't noticed before…

Did you select the "Sample Text" when you manipulated the font?  I just tried it with the PM Classic template and Comic Sans MS worked fine for me as well as Copperplate and other fonts.

Yes, the sample text was selected and the font actually shows through there (see attachment), it just does not show up in the resulting image…

I've attached the following images used in a simple test:
1. The test image (just a 400x80 sheet of grey)
2. The watermark settings as used with the PM_Classic template
3. The resulting image.

As you can see, the font setting is not honoured in the result.

As you can see, the font setting is not honoured in the result.

That's odd.  It works fine for me.  I'll have to get you a logging version to see what font it uses when it renders the text.

P.S. I just tested the watermark functionality of the save as function, and that too exhibits the same problem. So at least it is consistent
