Crop in xmp file from LR/Camera Raw not visible

I use LR or Camera Raw to crop an image and save the change to the xmp file. I open the xmp file as a text file and the crop information is in the file. (Bridge, LR, PS, and so on can also see the crop information).

I open a contact sheet containing the image. The xmp crop does not display.

Should it?

Should it?

No.  Photo Mechanic does not parse Adobe's crop settings.
