PM stalls when opening contact sheet after copy

Hi,

I am running 4.6.1 and I use the "cmd+Y" copy option. I set it to open the contact sheet afetr copy.

Two things:

1. When it copies it stalls a bit at the end. After a while it opens the contact sheet.
2. When it opens the contact sheet it stalls again (beach-ball syndrome on Mac). It should open straight away since I am using "Filaname" as the sorting option but it takes some time (20-50 sec) to open the contact sheet.

Is this a know bug or is this something that has to do with the configuration?

Usng PM 4.6.1 and Mac Leopard on Mac Book Pro.

It is probably refreshing the Navigator and Favorites.  Do you have any network drives connected to your system?

Hi,

I had some network drives but no anymore. And this happened last night at a football match and I had only the laptop and no external drives. Is it possibly trying to refresh drives that are not available?

There is a setting that allows you to make network or local drives not check for subfolder contents.  Just right click on any item in the Favorites or Navigator and choose Preferences... from the contextual menu.

Unlikely, though even if it did, it would quickly get an error and stop trying.

If you want to get to the bottom of this issue let me know and I'll get you a logging version and we can see where the time is being spent.
