carriage returns in captions??

Kirk - I'm having a issue with carriage returns in captions on uploads? my carriage returns & spaces are being trimmed by Zenfolio & SmugMug & others I think. What are my options?

If my caption says:

"John smiths at park.

All rights reserved.

Photo by Joseph A. Sorrentino"

It shows as:
"John smiths at park.All rights reserved.Photo by Joseph A. Sorrentino"

You could try experimenting with various line endings.  Maybe they like LF or CR/LF line endings.  There is no standard in the IPTC specification for line endings.  CR is the default in Photo Mechanic.  You can change your preference in the IPTC/XMP tab of the Photo Mechanic Preferences dialog.

Thanks, I didn't see that as an option. CR/LF works they way I expect with Zenfolio.
