How to copy favourites from one computer to another
« on: October 30, 2009, 03:06:23 PM »
I just upgraded from Windows Vista to a new iMac with Snow Leopard. I have copied all settings using Prefences->Export to match the ones from the old computer, but I've found no way to import or copy the favourite folders and in particular the "remembered" folders. Is there a way to do it? I've looked for signs of configuration files but can't find anything relevant.
Thanks.

You can't.  Windows paths and Mac OS X paths (Unix) paths are incompatible.

You'll just have to re-create the Favorites again.
