PM define as Standardprogramm Windows 7
« on: December 22, 2009, 03:22:13 AM »
Hello,

when i insert a CF-Card into my Card-Reader, Windows 7 pop-up the Autoplay-Dialog where i can choose the Program that have to start.
In the List is Open Ingest Photo Mechanic, but the Program-Icon is defect and there was a Windows-Standard-Icon. When i click on "Open Ingest", Windows prompts a Dialog that i have to define Photo Mechanic as Standard-Program.

In the List of Windows is Photo Mechanic allready defined as Standard for Images, but the Program-Icon is defect too. When i save this, it does not run.
I alway get the Alert-Window after insert a Card into my Reader, that Open-Ingest with Photo Mechanic was not define as Standard and it does'nt run.

If i start Photo Mechanic and start Ingest with "Strg+G" it runs okay, but i have to do this manuel.

Not certain at this point.  The engineer who wrote the 32-bit only version of the AutoPlay handler no longer works for us.

Oh that's a pity, then I can not work with Photo Mechanic for a while, because just a quick Ingest is for work very very important and crucial.

anyway, I wish you and your team a Merry Christmas

thanks for your Answer
