Question regarding purchase

Hi, I am finally getting ready to purchase a copy of Photo Mechanic. I used a demo code a few months ago but didn't buy a license after it expired because I didn't have enough funds back then. The PM version I used with the demo was 4.6.2.1 and is currently installed on my Vista machine. I have noticed that the latest version released is 4.6.3.
So my question is: should I uninstall the older version, download the newer one and buy a license for it or should I use the link that appears when I open my current version of PM in order to register?

I think actually all would work, but my suggestion would be to just

• purchase a license,
• download the latest,
• uninstall the version you currently have installed,
• install the latest.

This will give you the cleanest install on a Windows system (on a Mac upgrading to a new version simply involves overwriting the previous one, a lot simpler).

Note: uninstalling the previous version is not really necessary (both versions will be installed next to each other and can even be used interchangeably)
