Ability to Pause the Upload Que

Can we get a way to pause the upload que?
There are many times where I'll have a couple hundred event images being FTPed to my site and I want to pause the upload que for a few minutes so that I can get something else done without having to cancel the whole process.

Yes, this would be useful, especially on internet connections with limited bandwidth.
