Ingest Multiple Folders from Epson Multimedia Viewer
« on: September 09, 2010, 11:09:04 AM »
I'm running Photomechanic 4.6.5 on an intel MacBook Pro 17" on OSX 10.5.8.  I would like to be able to select an entire day's worth of individual image folders to ingest simultaneously.  I download cards throughout the day to an Epson P-7000 so I always ingest FROM my epson P-7000 multimedia viewer.  This involves going into the folder list and adding each folder of images individually.  Is there any way to add more than one folder at a time during the folder selection process?  I have tried shift+click and it doesn't work. I have also tried keeping the epson empty, but when multiple projects run simultaneously, ingesting using the backup folder and selecting "ingest only new images" has been too difficult to track. All I really want to do is to be able to select 8-10 folders to add to the "ingest folders" dialog box without having to add each individual folder one at a time.  Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Mike

Does your device allow you to create a folder and then create sub-folders within that folder?  If so, then download each card into its own sub-folder within the parent folder.  Then when you Ingest, pick the parent folder and the sub-folders should get ingested all at once.
