Lost Captions/Keyword data

I edit and clean up scanned and digital images using Capture NX2 and then save them as a TIFF file. Then add Captions, Keywords, Stationary pad info etc using PM. They are then burned to CD prior to dispatch to my agent. However, when I copy the same files to a backup directory I lose all the data I have put in! Using 4.6.6 and love it, what am I doing wrong?

You posted this question in the Quantum Mechanic forum, but I think you meant to post it in the Photo Mechanic forum instead. You would likely have gotten a reply much earlier. So if you still have this problem, please repost your question there.

BTW, do you have the problem when copying the NEF files, or the TIFF files? What are your IPTC preferences set to?
