Ingest Copy Error with Nikon D300S RAW (nef) files

I am running Photo Mechanic version 4.6.7 and I run Mac OS X 10.6.8 on my 4 GB 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro

I just purchased a Nikon D300S and I've having problems trying to ingest RAW files.

Attached is the screenshot with the error message.

Any help would be appreciated.

How is the card mounted on your system?  Via a card reader?  If so, which reader?

If you use the Finder to do the copy instead, does the Finder get errors?

I have a Delkin Devices card reader. Hi-Speed USB 2.0, DDREADER-38. I haven't had any problems with PM with a D3 it just seems to be the D300s.

Yes, if I Ingest using the Finder I get the same error.

Work current work around is to just copy the images to the desktop folder, THEN go into PM to make my selects, caption, etc. I edit in LR3 from PM. It's just the ingest that seems to be the hiccup.

If you get an error doing the copy via the Finder, how do you get the images onto your Desktop folder?

The old school way...I drag them off the card into the folder then open them as a contact sheet in PM.
