Get date from DateCaptured...?

I've been using PM for a long time now and one thing about it has really bugged me. All the stuff in the INFO section and the right-click menu seems to come from the EXIF and it's really useful, except for the two most crucial ones... the date and time. For some reason, they always display the modification date. I really couldn't care less when the copy of the photo was created or last updated. What I want to see is the exact date and time the photo was taken. Is there any way to tell PM to display this information instead?

The only reason I can think of is that those files do not have a capture date; PM shows me the capture date time for all my images as expected and only in the case where the info is not available does it show me the modification date time.

What files are you having trouble with? What software (if any) did you use to edit them?

Have you set the time to capture time in the IPTC info panel?

Thanks for the suggestion... I hadn't been aware of it. I gave it a look over, but even after experimenting with the variables, I'm still not getting what I'm after...

Please post the image that PM isn't getting the Capture Date/Time correctly.   Use the 'Additional Options...' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your image.
