NX2 edited tiffs?

In anticipation of the PM catalogue version I have been exploring some other DAM programs and can conclude that none of these (I'm on Mac so my options are limited) correctly display Capture NX2 edited nef's (and this makes these programs pretty useless for someone who has a lot of CX2 edited nef's). I know that the current version of PM correctly displays NX2 edited tiffs but and I wonder if this will hold true also with the upcoming catalogue version?

There should be no visual differences in image rendering when cataloging is or isn't being used.

That's good news! Really looking forward for the release (I guess I share this anticipation with a lot of others).
