seqn variable inserting extra characters
« on: July 21, 2012, 09:32:57 PM »
While ingesting or renaming fils, the {seqn} variable is adding characters to the right of the sequence digit:

so that filenames set to rename as; filename-01.jpg, filename-02.jpg
become instead; filename-0101.jpg, filename-0201.jpg

the preview display on the rename menu shows them properly sequencing, but the result always has the extra digits.

Can I reset some hidden default?

thanks

Check your Renaming Resolution preference.  It's in the Files section of the Photo Mechanic Preferences dialog.  Yours is probably set to 'Always append digits (01, 02, 03)'.
