On my Mac, I have hundreds, perhaps thousands of folders named (using Photomechanic) using a convention of YYYY-MM-DD_subject_of_shoot
Because many applications don't give me enough room to see the whole folder name, I'd like to rename all my folders like this YYMMDD_subject_of_shoot.
Those few extra characters will make a difference. And I'm not going to be around for the next century change, so I don't care about that part.
Does anyone know of a tool or a technique that can automate this process for me?
