PM 5.0 on 64-bit Win7: can't access PS droplets
« on: August 10, 2012, 08:04:46 PM »
Hi Kirk and company...

Another question for you with my new installation of PM 5.0 on Win7/64:  Droplets aren't showing in the "Send Photos to Droplet" menu.  The correct path shows for droplets in the Preferences dialog (this was correctly inherited from my old installation of PM 4.6.2 that was uninstalled prior to installing 5.0).

Hitting "refresh droplets" doesn't work; all is empty.

Clarification:  This is from the image/send photos to droplet menu.  Oddly, if I right-click a single photo, all my droplets show up in the context menu.

Suggestions please?

thanks!!!
Jerry

Jerry,

I'll have to look into that and get back to you.

Hi Kirk - any word on this (or is anyone else experiencing this behavior).

At this point, batch droplets functionality is broken...

thanks,
Jerry

Thanks, Kirk - I know you have your hands (and feet) full, with the release.

FWIW, the workaround (for anyone else that's seeing this), I have all my droplets in a single folder of course.  Open the folder, select all the thumbs in PM that you need to run the droplet on, and drag those onto the droplet icon.

Not quite as elegant as doing all this inside PM, but if you have files selected by color etc. this is much easier than trying to do this directly via PS etc.

This problem should now be fixed.
