Reset of Imagecounter won't work every time

Hello,

sometimes the Imagecounter in Ingest Dialog will be reset to the last ingest-value.

In example:

I've imported 200 images. The last image will have the right number "...0200".
After ingest I reset the counter with the "Set {seqn} var..."-Button to "0000".
Later, after cropping, Color-Rating, work in Photoshop, upload the images, restart Photo Mechanic or the computer I'll try to ingest the next pictures and now, sometimes, the Ingest Dialog will show the Counter with "Sequence = 0200" and not with "0000".
And now, after reset it, I'm able to import the pictures with the right numbers.

I'm working with an Apple MacBook Pro Mid 2010, 8GB, 120 GB SSD, 512 GB HDD, OS X Mountain Lion and Photo Mechanic 5.

Same problem here. (I am a MacBook Air user.)

After every PM5 new start, the sequence counter
in the ingest dialog is on "0001".
PM5 reset the old counter.

The same problem was in PM 4.6.6

New version (update R13217), old ingest sequence counter error.
After every PM5 new start, the sequence counter
in the ingest dialog is on "0001".

 I use a MacBook Air, 11', middle 2011, 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, OS X Lion 10.7.4

I see the same issue on my PC using PM 5.0, build 13217(68ec133) and W7x64.

Started ingest with the ingest dialog showing "Sequence = 19694". As expected, the number 19694 appears in the file name of the first image file (.NEF) ingested. The name of the last file file ingested contains the sequence number 20396 (700+ files ingested). I quit PM,and startet PM again.

I expected to see "Sequence = 20397" in the ingest dialog, but the ingest dialog showed "Sequence = 19694", same as the starting number of the last 700+ image ingest.

Formatted the memory card (in camera), took two shots and ingested the two images. As expected, the first file name on disk contains sequence number 19694 and the last (second) file name contains sequence number 19695. The ingest dialog correctly shows "Sequence = 19696". I ingested the same two images again. The file names contains 19696 and 19697, the ingest dialog shows "Sequence = 19698". Still correct.

Now I quit PM and then started PM. The ingest dialog now shows "Sequence = 19694" again. That number appears to be inherited from my last ingest using PM 4.6.
