I'm working with 32-bit TIFF files a lot these day. This is nice as (amongst others) it allows for non destructive editing of e.g., HDR images. The only problem is that PM is currently unable to render these; instead of an image thumbnail/preview, it shows a completely black frame. (Note: funnily enough, when you open a directory with a 32 bit TIFF in it, PM initially seems to show a thumbnail for it which is then quickly replaced by an all black frame.)
It would be great if PM could support 32 bit TIFF files (and perhaps other file formats; see also the earlier post about
32 bit PSD files)
