Contact Sheets won't close

I click the 'X' icon on each contact sheet but it remains open. Even CTRL W won't close them.

Also the contact sheets won't open in tabs. They are all on separate windows.

Then the program always quits and when I open it up again, all the contact sheets that would never close are still open.

RE: the attached screen grab - these are the files that try as I might I cannot close!

Any suggestions.

I'm running a MacBook Pro and using PhotoMechanic 4.6.9.
