Crop, specify fractional sizes

My photos go into "memory mates" with exposed image sizes like 4.25" x 6.625". It would be great if I could type that in as the image crop size. My next step is adding a border (in other software) to get the image -with black border- to 5x7 size. Prevents guess work and disappointment regarding what will show in the frame.

Maybe add a check box or something get get user specific size in constrained crop.

Rotated crops with fractional dimensions will likely be implemented in the next major version of Photo Mechanic.

Choose the ratio and klick on the crop-button, the frame is the same size than the image. If you move the frame on one edge you only have to read out the coordinates of the edge on the image an set the other edges in same positions at the other edges in order of the rule (3/4, 4/3, 16/9...)...should be easy

You can already dial in values like 16 for width and 9 for height.  Am I misunderstanding what your needs are?

I'd like to crop a lot of images of various sizes for a mobile device orientated online presentation. The browser window (Without toolbar and tabs) is 1024 x 672px, therefore the crop ratio required is 1:1.52380952 (according to my calculator!) Closest I can get with PM5 is 10:15.2 but this leaves a couple of pixels either side showing a white strip. So I'd like at least a couple more decimal points please. I therefore second this request. Thanks.

Since the limits on fractional precision were arbitrary, I have increased the floating point precision to 9 digits for the next build.
