mac folder service
« on: November 01, 2012, 07:05:23 PM »
I'm casually dating this new product PM5.. but I can't seem to let go of my tried and true long- term partner of PM4.   Therefore, I'm keeping both... for now.

I love right clicking in Finder, and opening a folder in Photomechanic.   The trouble is, it opens the folder in PM4, even if I already have PM5 running.   I've downloaded and installed the new service in the appropriate place, but it's still opening PM4.

Any clues to getting the service to open PM5 instead of PM4?

Thanks!

Kirk: the Browse folder with PM works fine for me in Finder but for FTP and syncing folders on different drives I use Binary Night's Forklift that lacks the PM addon. I guess it is either some sort of setting or it needs some change on their part - but how should I describe them the problem?
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.

I don't know.  I don't fully understand what you're saying either!  ;)

No matter I discovered a similar similar request in their support forums - and the fact they have one too...
