Just upgraded to above on a Windows 7 Pro PC running 8 Gb.

Is there any way to search the Media field? I still shoot film as well as digital and would like to be able to find film images as opposed to digital.

Do you mean the {mediatype} variable?  No, you can't search on that, but you can create a custom sort, or can use it in Thumbnail labels, or put it into a IPTC field and then search that IPTC field.
