PM 5: wrong orientation of thumbnails - Preview shows correct orientation

Hi All,

finally upgraded to PM 5 today - after first start up I see a strange behaviour: thumbnails show wrong orientation, while preview is displaying them OK, see snapshot.

The images have been imported and cropped using PM 4.6.8, edited with NX 2.

Please post one of the images that doesn't show correctly in the thumbnail view.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your sample image.

Hi Kirk,

thanx for your quick response - It's only that one particular folder with that strange behavior, I've a lot of other images without any issues...

In the meantime I've changed one setting: "Read embedded XMP before IPTC" is now selected and active. Without this change (before: "Read embedded IPTC before XMP") I was not able to crop any image :-(
But this doesn't fix my "orientation issue" here.

I downloaded your image and it shows up fine for me in the Contact Sheet, Preview, and Preview thumbstrip.  Did you send me all relevant files (do you have an XMP sidecar file as well that goes with your image?)

Hi Kirk,

I don't use any sidecar files (I've checked this using terminal to see any hidden files). There is only a .pmarrangement.dat file.

If I double click one of these images and edit/safe with NX2 then the orientation is shown correctly including crop frame.
