Updated to build 15451 and now having problems

Hi,

I never had any problem with PM. Tonight, as I updated to PM5 built 15451, PM became very slow and behave strangely.

a) it opens very rapidly about the first 50 photos (to fill my 30" display) but I have to wait minutes for the other grey slides to show images
b) it stops working once in a while, randomly
c) when it goes crazy, a light grey background appears everywhere, the window moves up half the menu bar, outside of the display, I can't click anywhere, etc.

I did the update as usual, never got any problem before.

I run Windows 7 64bits OS, 16Gb RAM, and data are on external HDD.

What could be happening?

It sounds like you got a bad install.  I suggest uninstalling, and then reinstall build 15451.

I had the same thing.  The contact sheet would display, but if I switched away and then back again, I would have gray squares that would occasionally flash the image if my cursor passed over.   I will try installing again and report back.
