PM Classic export
« on: December 20, 2013, 11:59:23 PM »
I tried using the variable {copyright} in the footer of the PM Classic export template.  The output was correct for the first page but missing in all following.  I assumed it would work the same as {page} does in Title 2 and appear on all pages.

Bug or by design?

Win 7 PM Build 15077

Jerry, did all your images contain copyright info? The field is populated from the metadata of your images so it needs to be set there. Note that with the export I'm not sure which of the exported images on a page (assuming it contains multiple) will be used for the meta data in the footer, but that should be easy to find out by eg. using a unique variable like filenamebase in the footer.

 >:( Dang I hate it when the answer is obvious and I don't see it!  Your call was right on Hayo - thanks!

Now that I think about it, using {copyright} the way I did is rather ambiguous because there is a many to one mapping. I suppose normally there is only one person for all the photos but that may not be true. That could lead to different outcomes depending upon the photos selected. I should probably do it differently next time...
