gps doesn't show maps

Hi,
tried to look at gps-map of a file with data I filled in yesterday (without problems) - today there is no map shown on dialog " set GPS Coordinates" ... the same problem on "Import GPS Coordinates" ... no map shown?
What's that?

Can you share the image and any XMP sidecar file (if you're using RAWs with XMP sidecars)?
Are you editing directly on your camera card?  By default PM won't write to photos contained on cards.

sharing the file should be no problem, the map flickers shortly when I open the dialog "set GPS Coordinates" and then disappears .. strange behaviour ... yesterday everything was right.

oh, and I do not write on any cameracard, only in files on my Mac. (by the way: system and PM are running at newest versions)

Can you share a screenshot of what happens in the dialog? (or better yet a video screen capture?)

What was the reason for this "switch off"?

It was a change in Google Maps.  Since that part of PM comes from our server, we could fix it without needing to make a new release.

Hi Kirk,
the same here. Running the newest version on 10.8.5: If I enter a city in the field and press the button "get GPS" than PM crashes.
My other machine running 5.0 build 16438: I can't enter a city, because there is no maps shown! Applying a preset is no problem.

We just tested PM5 and the various GPS map features on our systems and they all worked without fail.  Please contact our support folks for troubleshooting help:
