Color coding within IPTC edit window.
« on: May 11, 2014, 06:16:49 PM »
Would it be possible to make it so that we could color code images within the IPTC edit window by hitting the corresponding key (1-0) instead of mousing to the color area and selecting a color?

On the Mac in the IPTC edit window I can use CMD-0 to CMD-8 to set the color rating.
CTRL-0 to CTRL-5 for stars.
After 5 years of absence I restarted the photography.

Thanks for reminding me, Sven.

On Windows, Ctrl-0 through Ctrl-8 set the color class, Alt-0 through Alt-5 set the rating, and Ctrl-T toggles the tag.

The Mac version has no Tag equivalent.

There are so many features and nuances in PM, I forget them sometimes. ;)

I have Single Key Shortcut for color class checked in the preferences and only need the number to set the color in Windows 7.  It works with the keyboard numbers or number pad numbers. This combined with the Automatically Advance to Next Photo makes it fast to add a color class to a collection of photos.

The Mac version has no Tag equivalent.

The next build of Photo Mechanic will have Command-T as the keyboard shortcut for toggling the tag in the IPTC Info dialog.
