Finder icons

I can't get Photo Mechanic 4.4.3.3 to make finder icons.
I select all images/ go to Tool menu / select Generate finder icons/ click on Generate button and it looks
like it is making icons with progress bar but no icons ever appear on images in folder.
I'm on Mac 10.4.8
Any suggestions?

Sometimes the Finder caches old icons long after they have changed.  If the folder is on a removable volume, try removing it and reattaching it.  If it is an internal drive then the only thing I can suggest is to log out and back in again.
