Open: File permissions on ingest

This has been something that has been in place for as long as I can remember, but perhaps it can be changed

Upon ingest all files also get read and write permissions for group and other. This may not be ideal for everyone (it isn't for me ). Can this be changed so that ingest does not grant write permissions to group and other? The best would actually be to take the user's umask setting into account so one has control over what permissions get set (this is on a Mac, but I'm sure Windows has something similar).

Most likely, yes it could be changed.  I'll have to research and get back to you.  Some people may want the permissions set differently than their user mask is set so we may have to provide a UI for setting the value that PM would use.

But as noted, this is really a minor thing.
