PhotoMechanic to Lightroom star ratings not transferring

Photo Mechanic to Lightroom question. We shoot primarily with Canon Mark III's, but also both carry a Mark II as a secondary camera during weddings.

For our workflow, we first edit the photos in PhotoMechanic 5 (latest version) and star rate the images. Then we import into Lightroom v.5.6. When the photos are importing, they add the star ratings from the Mark III cameras, but don't have any star ratings for the Mark II's. Has anyone else had this issue?

We don't want to have to re-rate the Mark II photos in Lightroom, and this wasn't an issue with past versions of Lightroom. We're on Mac OS 10.9.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you embedding XMP or using XMP sidecar files?

No.  I just want to know how you have PM set to handle the writing of metadata like IPTC and XMP.  PM does not write metadata differently for the Mark II vs. the Mark III.  If you want to post sample files from your Mark II, I'd be happy to look at them and see if somehow the rating isn't making it into the file.

What version of PM are you running?
