ALL CAPS
« on: February 03, 2015, 07:20:24 AM »
Hi folks,
is there any simple way, that I might have missed, to automatically convert a word, sentence or variable output in ALL CAPS? For instance, I'm required to deliver an initial dateline that looks like the bold part in this example:

NEW YORK, USA - FEBRUARY 3: Center Peter Forsberg #21 of New York Islanders is checked by right wing Matt Bradley #10 of Washington Capitals at the Hockey Center in New York, USA on February 3, 2015. (Photo by John Photographer / Getty Images)

Photo Mechanic can evaluate a {variable} and make it all CAPS.  But I don't have a solution for part of your string of text.  It's an all or nothing capability.  {variable:UC}

This site will convert case of text that you paste into it.  But it would be a very manual process. http://convertcase.net/

I use these variables in my codes
{city:UC}, {country:UC}, {monthname:UC}, {day0} which gives this FORT MYERS, U.S, JANUARY, 16. Not sure how to make it bold though.

Hope this helps

Many thanks! I'll try that next time. Great examples.
And no, it does not have to be bold, not at all :)
