In Picasa, right clicking on a photo brings up a dialogue box with an option to 'Copy full path' - really handy - and I'm wondering if this can be done with PM?

No, but you can reveal the image in an OS window (Finder on Mac OS X, Windows Explorer on windows) by right-clicking on the image.  You can also right-click on a Contact Sheet tab and reveal any of the paths being browsed by that Contact Sheet.
