Photo Mechanic Refuses to Launch

Hi. I'm a Mac user and pretty regularly PM refuses to launch. I will use it successfully, close it, keep my computer on, then try to open PM again and it refuses. The only way I can ever fix this is to delete the app, re-download it and re-install which is a pain. Any idea why this is happening?
