Activating Photomechanic on Mac

How do I tell my Mac OSX 10.9.5 to open up P/M, version 4.6.9  when I insert a memory card. It has been working fine for ages but a hiccup occured with my computer and I cannot remember how to reset it.
Can anyone help?

In the Launching preferences there is a button to "Configure" Image Capture to launch PM, but it is likely that it won't work.  If it doesn't work then you can try and configure Image Capture manually from within Image Capture itself.  Apple keeps redesigning Image Capture so the procedure keeps changing.
