When I first read this, I thought it might be a nice idea -- for both Copy (as proposed) as well as Save As, and perhaps other actions. But then I realized that OSX already has 'recent places' built into the dialog. That works well for me -- and perhaps it also works well for many other mac users. I have no idea if windows has something similar -- if not, i'm sure windows people would appreciate it. (but after catalog!)
