trouble with Leica-Q

When I ingest with PM (Version 5.0, build 17146 (60130ac); mac capitan 10.11.3) in a new folder
 "macro"; my pictures are not in this folder, but in macro/DCIM/101LEICA

I have the same setup (Version 5.0, build 17146 (60130ac); mac capitan 10.11.3) and no similar problem with ingest. The DCIM/101LEICA is the file system on the SD card from the camera. For some reason PM is copying that. Sorry I have no specific answer but it may be a setting in the ingest dialogue.

Please post a screen shot of your Ingest dialog showing your settings.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

Try changing the Source Directory Structure popup menu to "ignore - copy all photos into same destination"
