4K Support
« on: June 17, 2016, 11:22:15 PM »
Any plans to support 4K - 3840 px x 2160 lines - video?
Please, please, pretty please.
So many cameras are churning out 4K, it's now vital part of work-flow.
Unless I'm missing something, of course: PM5 build 17338 (df27633) OS 10.9.5.
I'm producing 4K from Sony A7R2 which is AVCS in a MPEG 4 wrapper but no previews or playback.
Thanks!

Does QuickTime Player support your format?

PM5 won't be able to play your videos because PM5 uses QuickTime 7.  Can you get me a small sample (zip compress it and post it here) and I'll see what I can do to support it in PM6.

Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your file.

Thanks,

Tom,

How did you send it?  I have not received any files from you.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped 4k movie.

Thanks,

-Kirk
