PM 5 and 4 crashes/freezes after closing

Hi there,

I am using Photo Mechanic on a macbook pro with macOS Sierra. It's working fine since the moment I want to close the app.
Immediately after pressing cmd+q or "quit photo mechanic" in the menu the mac "beachball" appears and PM freezes.

I can only use "force quit Application" the quit PM.

Is there a solution for this?
