About my previous question, I can see now that each ingested file, with or without IPTC data, has 2kb more than the original file.
Is it possible to make a simple copy of the Raw files during the ingestion in order to preserve the Raw files untouched?
The perfect workflow for me would be:
- copy the pictures to both primary and secondary places;
- create different folders to Jpeg and Raw files;
- during the copy / ingestion, apply IPTC to the Jpeg files;
- write a XMP card to the Raw files and preserve the Raw files totally untouched (do not altering anything, including size and modification data, just like a simple copy would do).
Thanks,
Marta
