Crop doesn't ftp

If I crop a picture in PM and then ftp it, the crop doesn't apply. If I save it as, it does apply. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any thoughts.

Make sure you have apply crop enabled and that you disabled send original. If that doesn't help, please show us your ftp dialog settings.
