Issue when deleting files.
« on: October 23, 2017, 07:49:09 AM »
Hi,

I'm having a problem when deleting files, I have the "Moving files to trash" dialogue appear, the process then takes a good 20-30 seconds to complete. Previously the process was almost immediate.

Any ideas how I can resolve this?

It is likely yet another problem with macOS High Sierra.  We'll try and find a workaround for it in an update to PM5.

I have found High Sierra to be extremely unreliable.  The Finder crashes several times an hour in normal use (copying, moving, deleting files.)

No worries, the problem did indeed start occurring with High Sierra. However, this is the only problem I've had. So far I've not experienced any of the other issues you mention above.
