4.5 seems markedly speedier on my MacBook Pro Duo-Core compared to existing version.

But I'm not wild about the IPTC page. I would hate to have to scroll down to get to common fields, like city, state, country.

Is there anyway to get the same IPTC layout of the current version of the program in 4.5?

No.  But we will be making the layout entirely customizable in an early update to 4.5.

Forgive me for putting another issue in this thread, but I have a quick question.

Win XP Home, SP2, current updates, Sony Vaio, duo-core, 2gig ram.

When using the Simpleviewer templates, I am not able to use an image as the background, only a color.  I click on "Set" and nothing happens.

Is it only possible to use an image if one downloads the Simpleviewer program?

It is supposed to work.  I'll have to investigate.

I changed the template so you can pick a background image for the SimpleViewer.  Did you try it?
