Contact sheet variables

I am trying to find a way of indicating on the contact sheet which drive a particular image is on. For example I have an external drive called "Western Digital 1 Tb" which means it is my external drive. I can place the variable for the full path name but that takes up a lot of space on the contact sheet and I just want the basic name of the drive. Does anyone have a method of doing this.

You can use "Variables Substring Extraction" to limit the length of what is printed on the contact sheet labels.
