Ability to view "Nested" folders in Contact Sheet View
« on: July 29, 2018, 10:19:14 AM »
In Contact Sheet view PM5 has the ability to show nested PDF, Word, etc. files - and in many cases open them with a Cmd-E (on a Mac)

I often have sub-folders nested in a main folder - For example the main folder would contain the photo session as downloaded with sub folders containing outtakes, selected photos rendered from RAW, and perhaps final files prepped for release.

It would be a real convenience and timesaver if these sub-folders would appear in the Contact Sheet view with a bonus being that double clicking on them would open their contents as a new Contact Sheet.

Since it seems PM has the ability to display and open Word, PDF, and other files from a contact sheet why not a similar ability to display and open nested folders of photos?

Thanks for considering

Contact Sheets show the contents of folders (files), not folders themselves.  You can open a folder and its subfolders into a single contact sheet from the Favorites or Navigator (right-click on an item to see the various 'open' options.)
