Problem playing wav files from Fuji XT3

I`ve looked through the support topics, but i can`t see any relevant posts to help me with this problem.
I added sound annotations (wav files) to a number of raw images from a canon 1D X and a Fuji XT3. When these raw files are downloaded, the wav file icons are visible on the canon and fuji files, but the wav files from the fuji will not playback ..... whereas the canon wav files playback ok.
The wav files have the same file name as the images, sit in the same folder and playback externally in quicktime etc
I am using photo mechanic version 5.0, build 19711 (d006a74) on a mac running OSX High Sierra (version 10.13.4)

What device recorded the WAV files that don't play?  The Fuji camera or something else?

Hi Kirk,
Yes, the fuji XT3 camera records the wav sound file. In PM, the wav files from the canon 1dx play ok, but the wav files from the fuji won`t play.

Can you provide a sample WAV file from your Fuji XT3?  One second should be plenty long enough.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your WAV file.
