.Mac Synch - Dot Mac Synch
« on: March 31, 2007, 05:05:42 PM »
I see there is a feature request for DotMac Synching - But in the meantime what files do I need to manually synch such items as Preferences and Keywords. I have two studio offices and travel between them with my hard drive and DotMac as a backup.

Thanks
Stowell

Starting with your home folder:

<home>/Library/Preferences/com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.plist

Your snapshots are stored here:

<home>/Library/Preferences/Photo Mechanic/

Copy the com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.plist and the Photo Mechanic folder.  That's it.

Thanks for you quick reply;

I created a "Smart Folder".
Search Folder "Library" > Name Contains "PhotoMechanic" and the one folder [PhotoMechanic] and the one file [PhotoMechanic.plist] came up.

Thanks
Stowell

PS, I also created a smart folder on my iDisk.
