Hello PM folks,

360° images are widely used... so it would be good to use PM for selection / preview of for example ricoh theta images ( 360° equirectangular) in 360° modus ( 360^° VR player in PM)

No, and it isn't planned for implementation in PM6.  At this time the effort required does not seem like a wise investment of our development time.  If there were a lot more interest in such a feature then we'd consider implementation.
